"As COVID-19 cases continue across the United States, the NCCDP will continue to offer our NCCDP seminars virtually online via zoom. THIS PERTAINS TO NCCDP CORPORATE CLASSES TAUGHT BY NCCDP CORPORATE TRAINERS. (All other registrants must check with their instructor on the scheduling of their seminar).

For anyone wishing to attend the ADDC online seminars, due to the National crisis, there are no distance restrictions.

While certification promotes and maintains quality, it does not license, confer a right or privilege upon or otherwise define the qualifications of anyone in the healthcare field.
This is the required seminar for those pursuing certification as CDSGF Certified Dementia Support Group Facilitator.
Registration information regarding ADDC seminar presented by the NCCDP corporate staff
Registration is 8:00 A.M.
The class begins at 8:30 A.M.
Lunch Break 12:00 P.M to 1:00 P.M.
Lunch is on your own
Class ends at 5:00 P.M.
Hand out Notebook provided
Computers and recording devices are prohibited in class.
CDP applications will be provided in class. Once the class ends you will mail in your CDP application if you qualify for CDP to the NCCDP for consideration. The Alzheimer's disease and Dementia Care seminar is but one of the requirements for CDP certification.
Hotel rooms are not blocked.
Please check with the front desk on the day of the seminar for the location of the class within the hotel.
Cancellation Policy: NCCDP reserves the right to cancel a seminar due to poor attendance, unforeseen emergencies, illness, death, acts of terrorism, weather conditions, and transportation issues that are out of our control. We make every effort to market the seminar. We will notify you via email of a seminar cancellation 24 hours prior to the seminar date at which time you may ask for a full refund or apply your funds towards another seminar in the future. We make no guarantees however that we will present this seminar in the same city or state within the next 24 months. NCCDP is not responsible for your out of pocket travel expenses or any other expenses if the seminar is canceled. We recommend you confirm with NCCDP that the seminar is being presented 48 hours prior to the seminar and prior to making travel arrangements. We will send an email confirmation 48 hours prior to the seminar to the email you listed on your seminar registration form.
If, you the student cancels the seminar please note that there is a $75.00 USD cancellation fee. If you cancel 48 hours prior to the date of the scheduled seminar there is no refund. Please allow 4 weeks to process your refund. The Cancellation must be in writing to nccdpoffice@nccdp.org. If you paid by credit card the refund will be processed to the credit card used to pay for the seminar. If you paid by money order or check then a check will be issued to the person or company issuing the check. There is a $17.00 USD bounced check fee each time your check is redeposited.
To summarize:
All cancelations must be in writing to nccdpoffice@nccdp.org.
Send your full name, date, and location of the seminar, your email address, and home address and phone number. If you paid by credit card, indicate the seminar was paid either by check or credit card. We need the name or the company name either on the check or company if you did not personally pay for the seminar so the credit issued to the person or company who submitted the payment.
There is a $75.00 cancellation fee if you cancel prior to 49 hours of the scheduled event.
If you cancel 48 hours prior to the event there is no refund.
If you cancel 24 hours prior to the event there is no refund.
If you cancel the class on the day of the event there is no refund.

The ADDC seminar is approved for Nurses in most states for 7 CEUs and the information packet will be provided to you in the student handout notebook. Currently, the ADDC seminar is approved for 7 CEUs in the following states; Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, California, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington DC, Washington State, and West Virginia. This is effective as of 8/4/2017 and is subject to change. The cost of the 7 CEUS is NOT included in the ADDC seminar fee. The information packet can be found in the back of the student handout notebook explaining who to send your check and the CEU packet to AFTER you have completed the ADDC Alzheimer’s disease and Dementia Care seminar. THE CADDCT INSTRUCTOR WILL NEVER COLLECT THE NURSING CEUS FEES! The cost of the CEUS is $4.00 per CEU or $28.00 which is subject to change by the CEU Network. If you have a Dementia related certification from a national organization please download the CDP grandfather application. You do NOT need to take the ADDC seminar unless you choose to do so. You will need to provide a copy of your Dementia certification and the Dementia Certification must be in good standing.
